We all know the most common uses of a grill – cooking burgers, steak, or hot dogs. But, what do you do if you’re in the mood for a pizza? You’d have to use the oven, right? Think again. You can fire up the grill and heat up a pizza, no problem, with a grilled pizza recipe.
There are many ways you can cook a pizza on a grill. For example, a KettlePizza accessory will be helpful as it is designed to make cooking pizza on a grill easy. If you don’t have a Kettle Pizza though, check out this grilled pizza recipe from Delish.
Grilled Pizza Recipe:
- Scoop out the middles from both bread halves to create shallow boats. Spread pizza sauce onto each half then top with mozzarella, pepperoni, black olives, red onion, green bell pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Wrap bread loosely with aluminum foil and place over a campfire (or on a hot grill) and cook until the cheese is melty and the crust is toasted, 10 to 15 minutes.
- Let cool for about 10 minutes until slicing. Serve warm.
